Fabrizio Zappa
Born in Mariano Comense (CO) in 1967, Fabrizio Zappa combined his studies in architecture with an in-depth practical knowledge of projects development through internships in renowned Milanese architect studios. In 1998 he met the eclectic artist and designer Marco Preti, who introduced him to a long course of study and artistic growth, bringing him to an important stylistic and creative maturity.
His creations originate from the emotions that a painting, a body, a place may inspire. His artistic projects in Italy and abroad concern detached villas, apartments, shops, paying particular attention to the theatricality and fluidity of space. In the context of industrial design his creations are mainly dedicated to furniture elements.
His works have been published in Furniture and Design magazines. Exhibitions: Turin – Book Fair, London – 100% Design, Milan – Host.
